Had a variety of food but these were special ordered due to an allergy and they tasted great and made them the way I asked. We had 14 people and got are food quick and tasted great, we had a cheese crisp, fajitas, steak burrito, and taco baskets. Definitely try this place out. Its the original and best location. Different than the one on 67th Ave. Food is close but doesn't taste same yet. I think its not been open long enough yet. We were celebrating a birthday and they brought out a great dessert. All around it was a great place. Definitely will be back just like always before.
Always look forward to heading here when visiting Phoenix. Meals are always delicious and authentic unlike many of the fast food restaurants. All wash down well with their margaritas
This was our first time visiting here, and the restaurant was nice. We were seated quickly and our waiter was very nice. There is a large selection on their menu. One thing they are lacking is a smaller portion for adults. Everything is large portions. Our drinks were delicious, but it was strange that they were not able to change our drinks. One of our parties asked for their signature drink to be blended instead of on the rocks, and they said they couldn't accommodate us. Another asked if she could get a double in a larger glass. She would pay for two drinks, just combine them and again they said they couldn't do that. I was formally in the industry, and these seemed like reasonable requests. The food came out quickly, and it was delicious. Our server was attentive but did not clear our empty glasses or plates, so it became very crowded. This is a great place to eat. Just know you are going to get large portions, so make sure you can take to go boxes.
Food was delicious. Elizabeth M provided great service. She has a very friendly personality. Would highly recommend trying it if you haven’t already. Price was good for the quality of food.
Guys, I’m gonna keep this one short and sweet and just say this…AH-MAAAAAZING!! Literally THE BEST authentic Mexican food I’ve ever had cross my lips in my life; and that Spinach Queso Dip Hands down, if you want the best Mexican food and service in the valley, go see Katie at Valle Luna, I promise you won’t regret these 42 year family recipes they’re sharing with all of us!! Thank you Tia Rita
Valley Luna is a hidden community gem in Deer Valley. The prices for the amount of food that was given was exceptional. Service was great nice and friendly and a down home atmosphere . The food was good the steak was a tad bit over cooked for my pallet but was full of flavor. The enchilada was superb. I would highly recommend this hidden gem. It was packed during the week. It has great weekly specials and it won't break the budget . Mexican flavors at its finest.
Update June 2025 For the first time I had the sizzling fajita and it sure did sizzle and was very tasty, but I had ordered the pork and steak and it was disproportionately pork and it should have been better balanced. The accompaniments were ample and tasty. Enjoyed my House Margarita and asked for Tajin on the rim and they obliged. Complimentary chips as good as ever. Claudia the server was very attentive and it actually seemed she cared that it was my birthday and wished me a happy one right at the start and again at the end. One of these days I'm going to ask to be in the other room with the seaside murals just for a change of pace in the dining atmosphere, not that there is anything wrong with the main room. ****** A fun place for Sonoran food since it has such kitschy decor and a number of smaller rooms so it doesn't feel like you are in one big lunchroom but some place more interesting despite not having windows. Some of the murals give the impression of looking at the sky, and the copper mountain shaped booth dividers are not only attractive but practical in adding in some privacy, yet if you have a larger party, they look to be moveable. Plenty to look at while waiting for your food, but they are surprisingly speedy, and anyway, their delicious complimentary tortilla chips and salsa will keep you busy chomping away. They are known for their fundidos which I can only eat 1/2 of at a sitting, but maybe I could do better if I didn't eat all those chips first! Service is also so gracious and those servers really hustle to keep you happy and will offer well appreciated advice. So kind of the establishment to offer a great deal for veterans on their day! Thank you.
